The R&D Cooperation between Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Zozen Boiler

　　Zhang Guoping, chairman of Wuxi Zhongzheng Boiler Co., Ltd., met with the visitors Professor Luo Yonghao of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (called SJTU for short) Thermal Energy and Power Schooland his delegation at the headquarters.

　　Zhang Guoping extended his warm welcome to the visiting of Luo Yonghao and his delegation. He reviewed the long history of good cooperation between the two sides, summed up the achievements achieved in the biomass boiler, and expressed his gratitude to SJTU for its continuous support. He expressed that Wuxi Zhongzheng Boiler will further deepen cooperation with SJTU, broaden the original field of cooperation, create differentiated advantages, and jointly make greater contributions to Chinese advanced boiler technology going global.

　　On the cooperative project of biomass boiler, the SJTU’s combustion and gasification research team is responsible for the analysis of the combustion mechanism of the biomass boiler. Through refined experiments and simulate calculations in the laboratory, they will analyze the common problems occur in boilers’ combustion, then put forward the optimal scheme. According to the scheme, the design and manufacturing team of Zhongzheng Boiler will carry out the on-side boiler inspection and commissioning, remould the old boilers, design the new boilers and optimize the operation of boilers. It has been applied to chain grate boilers of 10 tons to 160 tons, and the emission of NOxis as low as 100mg/m³whenthe combustion efficiency is guaranteed to be 90%, which fully meets the current environmental requirements for biomass boilers in China. What’s more, we design a remote and optimized operation system integrated with internet.

　　So far, the R&D cooperation between our team and SJTU indicates that our company’s technology of biomass chain boiler has reached the leading level in the world.
